Leadership in Times of Change: Re-Imagining the Legal Workplace

Minnesota Women Lawyers is pleased to announce the first gathering in its new "MWL Member Mondays" series.

On Monday, September 14, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., please join MWL for an important conversation on how we might best navigate our transformed workplaces, as the profession collectively faces a pandemic and critical issues of equity and racial justice.  How might – and should – the legal industry change?  How can we, both individually and collectively, be forces of change?  Our current work environment has created a monumental shift that has particularly impacted women, and to an even greater extent women of color. How will we, as women lawyers, connect, support and advocate for our ourselves, our colleagues, our businesses and our community during these unprecedented times. Please join community leaders from different areas of the legal profession to discuss how we might re-imagine and reshape the legal workplace.

MWL is honored to welcome our esteemed panelists:

Jim Chosy, Senior Executive Vice President and General Counsel, U.S. Bancorp

The Honorable Natalie Hudson, Associate Justice, Minnesota Supreme Court

Irene Kao, Intergovernmental Relations Counsel, League of Minnesota Cities

Moderator Breia Schleuss, Partner, Faegre Drinker, MWL President

The event is FREE and open to MWL members, MWL Partners, and their guests.  Registration is required via the link above.  (A reminder email along with Zoom log-in details will be forwarded to all registrants 2-3 days prior to the event.)

1.0 Elimination of Bias CLE credit has been applied for (Event Code: 323176).

We hope you will join us at our first MWL Member Monday.  Feel free to extend the invitation to colleagues and friends.  A shareable flier is available here to view and download.
